The Black Walnut Inn is located, minutes from the Delaware River and the charming Town of Milford, known for its antique and craft shops, fine dining, Grey Towers Historic Landmark, and the Black Bear Film Festival in the fall.. We are only 90 minutes from New York City, 3 hours from Philadelphia and 6 hours from Washington, D.C. Guests looking for a relaxing getaway can expect a warm, comfortable atmosphere. You'll find romantic spots throughout the property, hideaways perfect for two, or for a picnic with friends and family. Guests share a country-style living and dining area, where many friendships have been forged between visitors from all over the world, as well as neighbors from our own backyard who are looking for a local getaway (or a great breakfast - Robin's is famous for her home-fries). We are a trilingual facility (English, Spanish and American Sign Language) and we are alternative lifestyle-friendly.
