Since 1982 the Inn has been a haven for those wishing to escape the city, a home away from home for families to relax and enjoy nature, and a place for couples to rekindle romance.

Hidden in the woods, on the far shore of the lake, is the Little Walnut Cabin.  It is only a short walk from the main house.  This private three-bedroom cabin is perfect for families or small groups and can house up to seven people comfortably.  There is a full, eat-in kitchen, full bathroom, living room with fireplace, television for playing VCR or DVD (sorry but we don't get reception at the cabin), and a deck with barbecue.  The master bedroom on the main floor has a queen-size bed.  The second bedroom upstairs has one double bed.  There is a third loft bedroom with three single beds, great for kids.  Pets are also allowed in the Little Walnut (please refer to the rules regarding pets in the Policies section of our website). 

There are 12 bedrooms in the main house, four with private bath, four with half-bath, and four with shared bath (which is a large bathroom in the hall, just like in your own home).  The rooms, which are quaintly decorated with antiques, each have one bed, and are meant for two people, however some can accommodate a cot for a small child.  All rooms have air conditioning during the summer months.
